A new brewery in Snohomish has opened on 2nd Avenue called SnoTown Brewery. The downtown brewery is inviting and is just off the Centennial Trail, so the location is great. People can easily stop by after a bike ride or a walk on the Centennial Trail. Since the brewery has no kitchen, so people are welcome to bring in their food and sit down and enjoy the local beer. There are two flat-screen TVs to enjoy sports and other events and board games for families to enjoy. A stage is being built for live music events.
The owner, Frank Sandoval, is a fourth-generation Snohomish resident. His mother’s pictures from turn-of-the-century downtown Snohomish are displayed on the walls of the brewery. He started brewing eight years ago and joined Greater Everett Brewers League (GEBL) two years ago. GEBL has a lot of knowledge for Sandoval to “tap” into, no pun intended!
